In 73 BCE, Crixus helped to lead a revolt at the gladiatorial training school in Capua alongside
Spartacus and Crixus. About 70 gladiators escaped.
This original force gradually gained suppport from other escaped slaves as well as the poor.
He seems to have died early on during the war.
